Ingredients:
Rice (Cooked ) - 3 cups
(A) To Grind:
- Amla - 8 large
- Salt to taste
- Sugar - 1/2 tsp
- Gingely oil - 2 tbs
- Green chilly - 3
(B) For Seasoning:
- Oil - 2 tbs
- Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
- Urad dal - 2 tsp
- Channa Dal - 1 tbs
- Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 string
- Ginger - 1/2 inch sliced (optional)
Preparation
- Cut amla and grind along with (A) and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Wait for it to pop.
- Now add rest of (B) one after the other.
- Finally add the ground mixture and stir for 2 to 3 min.
- Remove from stove and add it to the cooked rice along with gingely oil.
